Hello all! Belated Happy Thanksgiving to all you Americans and boo to me for not saying so last night! Ah well, here's hoping you're all full of turkey and other such goodies and happy. No going too crazy with Black Friday sales either! ^_^

Steampunk Inspiration

It all started with the this freaking cute hat that I got from the for 100L that comes with a HUD to change alllll kinds of things on the hat at the Fantasy Collective, well with such a cute hat I had to have something that went with it.  So that started me on a hunt on the marketplace for the rest of the outfit... The Boots are adorable and just worked with the hat perfectly, but that left me with the dilemma for finding an outfit to go with both... Then oooh I find the dragonfly necklace (again not clothes but meh, it is how the processed worked.)

Not finding what I wanted on the marketplace, I decided to go through my inventory and low and behold... I found a great outfit.. well a combination of two.  Put it all together and it is just perfect!

I used to be a avid roleplayer, so much so that I would often get into rps that would last 6 hours on average.  Sometimes they were longer, sometimes shorter.  That now I often find myself with more time on my hands than I'm used to.  With all of this extra time, I find myself often going afk in Barbie and I's house or shopping.

The shoes are crazy cute with fire at the toe, rain falling from the heel and the heel made of leaves. Yays! This skin is shocking to me in that I still wanna wear it everyday despite the extras. I'm generally pretty lame when it comes to wearing more elaborate skins every day but yay for this being the exception! It's been a stressful and rewarding sports weekend (take that Chiefs!) so just a quickie for yous while I go collapse in a bed. <3

well there are a couple guns there too. Better safe than sorry! ^_^ So I got a message from Cherry cubic Kre-ations that they're taking part in the Super Boobies hunt! Each store involved is covering a different super heroine and they seem to all come with appliers so super yay! I showed off one of these beautiful outfits on free*style but as if I can stop at one.

This is a mix of the Babydoll outfit from Fashion Krush and I borrowed the awesome guns'n'holsters from the Selene outfit by RapturzUK. I'm overall super happy with the hunt and excited to see what the stores that are late will put out. It's all taking place at the KaTnipZ WoNdeRLanD sim and there are prize previews and hints here.

On a very sidenote - go see the new Thor! It's amazing! There are two end scenes too so get comfy til all the credits roll by. Yaaaaaay superheros!

So I finally dragged my butt over to The Singer Icon Fair 2 last night while waiting for 50L friday goodies to go on sale and was so pleasantly surprised! I missed the first time it was around so maybe the quality and generosity shoulda been expected but either way YAY! I <3 Axix. I was completely caught by the cute rings they set out as a gift at the candy fair and then I found out they made poses and the junkie in me went 'squuueeee'. It's crazy to me that they make such great poses aaaannnd such cute accessories and now we can add clothes to the mix! They have this bodysuit set out for 5L at the Singer Icon Fair and it had me feeling very lil black riding hood. ^_^

Have you ever seen a new release and known you were going to have it even though you shouldn't? This amazing tail by Cubic Cherry Kre-ations was one of those for me. I got the notice. I couldn't stop myself from going to the store to look. I distracted myself by playing the gachas, going over all the reasons that I - as someone who never wears tails - should not buy this tail. Yesterday my will broke and oooooh how sweet it is! The texturing is amazing as always and really just the concept is too good to resist. ^_^

So Nani Poses were a discovery I very happily made at the Body Expo and I was super pleased to see that they are taking part in The Thrift Shop! With a gacha too! And that boys and girls is the story of how I temporarily became a bit of a stripper. :O

I also decided that if I was going to bare so much pixel skin to the world than it was going to be beautifully decorated. I don't wear tattoos too too often but this just seemed the best chance to break em all out. My hair is another of the sparkly Alice Project hair gachas and my 1 Hundred top is a gacha too! How bout them Broncos?

I know I know my colors are all wrong for the Broncos but they are the reason this post wasn't done yesterday! Plus the adorableness of this afk pose by Hela Miyo just has to be shared! In case you missed it, the Thrift Shop is now open! ^_^ If I were to trace back when my gacha addiction first started it would be the last incarnation of this event. My addiction has clearly grown much worse as I walked away with about double what I did last year [I thoroughly blame The Arcade for worsening my addiction] but yay for lotsa new affordable looks to show you! ^_^ Strangely enough, only one of the items I'm sporting is gacha-related and that would be these super cutes fish glasses from Naminoke! Though my hair was originally discovered through the Alice Project gachas... the glittery rainbow version was so cutes I had to buy the Create-Your-Own version from their booth!

My crazy cute outfit is a mix of Forever Young @ the Thrift Shop (seriously these capris are worth every linden!) and my newfound hero Sn@tch! After getting these capris I was desperately in need of a simple tank top with appliers I could pair with it. Seems easy huh? I wish Sn@tch had occurred to me right away because 5 stores after starting my search and no luck! Thankfully there is a handy Lolas section with the accessories and my heart's desire was afforadbly won! ^_^ So just super yay Sn@tch! ^_^

Hello lovelies! More fun finds from the Dirty Turkey Hunt! I'm just gonna admit that I have deep and abiding love for Shabby Cat. They're one of the stores I found on a hunt and I've adored everything I've seen from them since. I did a lil happy dance when I saw they were taking part in TDTH4.0 and the stockings they offer are crazy cute aaaaand modifiable so you can be sneaky and darken them when the outfit requires. This cute skirt from Goth1c0 actually includes a sweet lil cropped sweater top too but I couldn't resist pairing it with the hide corset from Plastik which is much too pretty to just sit in my inventory. The socks had me feeling very schoolgirl (minus the corset but yanno) and so I threw on these cutes glasses from Etham. My obsession with these ballet heels from Isis is being fed nicely by the constant influx of new hunts. Now to scour sl for a skipping animation and I'm set! ^_^

The Dirty Turkey Hunt 4.0 has introduced me to so many new stores that it's crazy. This skirt is by Imp Tail and I'm so in love with it. The simplicity, the textures, the daring. So much <3. A skirt that good deserves a look built around it and thus we have Heartbreaker! I suspect this pose is all old and such but Hopscotch has it set out as a gift and it's super cutes. There are two others that are included and really isn't breaking hearts a year round thing? ^_^
